The SMLIGHT SLZB-07 is a compact USB Zigbee coordinator built around the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 radio SoC. It provides a straightforward way to connect a Zigbee network to a compatible computer, Raspberry Pi or mini PC running a home automation platform.
The SLZB-07 is pre-flashed and supports popular Zigbee platforms including Home Assistant ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT. It can also be flashed with compatible Thread firmware when Thread operation is required.

Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT Compatibility
The SLZB-07 is designed for USB-based smart-home installations. It works with Home Assistant ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT when the appropriate Zigbee coordinator firmware is installed. This makes it suitable for managing compatible Zigbee lights, sensors, switches and other smart-home devices through a supported host system.
EFR32MG21 Radio SoC
The SLZB-07 uses the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 as its radio SoC. The device combines the radio with an onboard +20 dB amplifier and an external +3 dB rotatable antenna to provide a practical USB Zigbee coordinator for home automation installations.
Compact USB Design
Measuring approximately 18 × 54 × 10 mm, the SLZB-07 is designed to occupy very little space around the USB port. Its external antenna can be rotated in three axes to help position the adapter appropriately when installed near a computer, Raspberry Pi or mini PC.
Firmware and Flashing
The SLZB-07 is supplied pre-flashed for use as a Zigbee coordinator. SMLIGHT also provides a web-based flasher for supported firmware updates and for changing between supported coordinator, router and Thread firmware configurations.
