SMLIGHT SLZB-MRW10U Z-Wave, Zigbee & Thread Adapter Prototype
Call for Testers: The SMLIGHT SLZB-MRW10U is a compact multiprotocol adapter designed for evaluation and development across Zigbee 3.0, Thread/Matter, Wi-Fi and Z-Wave. These units are distributed as testing samples and are intended for evaluation purposes only.
Testing Program
The SLZB-MRW10U has completed SMLIGHT's internal testing and is described as providing stable operation across its supported networks. The current units are being supplied to testers before the planned full Z-Wave certification process.
Important: Z-Wave functionality on this prototype is currently non-certified. These samples are intended strictly for evaluation and testing and are not certified for commercial Z-Wave deployment.
The current tester price reflects participation in the testing program. The expected retail price (RRP) is approximately $129, subject to final retail pricing.
Multiprotocol Hardware
The SLZB-MRW10U combines dedicated processing and radio hardware to support several smart-home and IoT protocols:
- CC2674P10: Zigbee 3.0, Thread and Matter over Thread.
- EFR32ZG23: Z-Wave 800-series functionality for non-certified testing.
- ESP32-S3: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality in the U variant.
Zigbee, Thread & Matter
The CC2674P10 radio provides native support for Zigbee 3.0 and Thread-based applications, including Matter over Thread. The platform is suitable for smart-home hubs, bridges, automation systems and custom IoT development where multiple wireless protocols need to be evaluated.
Z-Wave Testing
The SLZB-MRW10U includes an EFR32ZG23-based Z-Wave radio intended for evaluation. Z-Wave support on these prototype units is currently non-certified. Testers can use the hardware and associated software tooling to evaluate Z-Wave functionality before the planned certification stage.
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
The U variant uses an ESP32-S3 for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, providing the network and local connectivity layer for the adapter and its software environment.
Smart Home & Development Use
The adapter is designed for developers, advanced smart-home users, testers and integrators working with multiprotocol environments. It can be used as a foundation for evaluating Zigbee, Thread/Matter and non-certified Z-Wave integrations in supported software environments.
Software & Integration
SMLIGHT's SLZB platform supports integrations and tooling used in smart-home environments, including Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and OpenThread-based setups. SMLIGHT also provides tester documentation for Z-Wave JS UI and Z-Wave integration with Home Assistant.

30-day return window from date of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Contact us to initiate a return — return address provided upon approval.
Warranty
All Dialedin products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects and failure. Consumables excluded.
