The MOES ZigBee Smart Smoke Alarm ZSS-HM-SSD01-A is a wireless photoelectric smoke detector designed to provide local audible and visual alerts when smoke is detected. Its ZigBee connectivity allows it to integrate with a compatible smart home system for remote monitoring and notifications.

Reliable Smoke Detection

The alarm uses a photoelectric smoke-sensing system to detect smoke produced by a fire and trigger an alert. When smoke reaches the alarm's detection threshold, the built-in siren sounds and the red LED provides a visual warning.

85 dB Audible Alarm

The smoke alarm provides an audible alarm level of at least 85 dB when measured at 3 metres, helping provide a clear local warning during a smoke event.

ZigBee Smart Home Connectivity

With ZigBee wireless connectivity, the MOES smoke alarm can be integrated into a compatible ZigBee smart home network. When used with a suitable ZigBee gateway and compatible app or smart home platform, the system can provide remote status and alarm notifications.

Local Alarm Protection

Self-Test and Low-Battery Indication

The device includes a self-test function for checking alarm operation and provides low-battery indication to help identify when the battery requires attention.

The detector operates from a 3 V lithium battery using one CR123A or CR17335 cell. It supports wall or ceiling mounting and is specified for an operating temperature range of 0°C to +55°C with relative humidity up to 95% RH, non-condensing.
