Product description

These mmWave Human Presence sensors are a great addition to your smart home network. Compared to its little sibling the LD2410B these modules feature a greatly improved antenna design to provide for superior sensitivity and range. They are however lacking Bluetooth so need to be used in conjunction with a USB to UART adapter or a microcontroller such as ESP32. You can pair this with ESPHome for use with Home Assistant. These fill the gap left over by traditional PIR motion detectors, that will forget you are in the room if you are not moving.

Hailingco Electronics has developed a highly sensitive human presence sensing module called the LD1125H. This module uses FMCW FM continuous wave technology to detect human targets in a space, combined with radar signal processing and accurate human sensing algorithms to achieve high precision.

The LD1125H is mainly designed for indoor use, capable of detecting moving or slightly moving human bodies in the area and outputting real-time detection results. It can accurately identify human bodies in motion or at rest and calculate the distance of the target and other auxiliary information. With a sensing distance of up to 4 meters for breathing and 8 meters for movement, this module provides visual configuration tools to easily customise the sensing distance range and sensing sensitivity in different zones to suit specific application requirements. Whether it be for home automation or security applications, the LD1125 with ESPHome and Home Assistant support is a versatile solution for human presence detection.
