The Wireless Tags WT32-ETH01 is a versatile embedded module based on the ESP32 series ICs, which provide 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an integrated Ethernet port. The module features an optimized TCP/IP protocol stack, which allows for easy hook up of networking functions for embedded devices, ultimately saving on development time and costs.

One of the unique features of the WT32-ETH01 is its official support for ESPHome Bluetooth Proxy. By offloading network traffic to the ethernet port, the performance of the Bluetooth proxy is improved as it no longer needs to share the antenna with Wi-Fi. The ESPHome Bluetooth Proxy feature allows for connecting Bluetooth devices to Home Assistant, acting as a bridge between this module and Home Assistant, making it easier to integrate Bluetooth devices throughout your smart home.

Of course this module is also fully compatible with all the popular ESP32 platforms, such as Arduino IDE, Tasmota, ESPHome, ESPEasy or any other ESP distro, for adding ethernet capabilities to your ESP32 IoT projects.

Please note that this module does not include a USB port, so a USB Serial adapter is required to flash this device with your chosen firmware. You can purchase a suitable USB serial adapter from our store or opt for a pre-flashed model with ESPHome Bluetooth Proxy, which can just be connected to your network with ethernet cable (5V power also required) and then adopted into ESPHome Dashboard.
