Product description

The Sonoff RE5v1c relay module is a versatile device that allows you to remotely control your devices with ease. This module is based on an ESP8266 chip to give you WiFi control of a single relay. It can be used to drive both DC and AC loads. With its compact and sturdy design, it is perfect for use in homes, offices, and industrial settings.

This relay module has been pre-flashed with Tasmota, so you don't need to mess around soldering wires to the tiny pads etc. If you wish to use a different ESP based platform, OTA flash can be used to convert this module to use ESPHome, ESPEasy, WLED or similar platforms. Works great with Home Assistant, OpenHAB, Jeedom or any of the other open home automation platforms for easily adding a WiFi controlled relay.

This module requires a 5V input for running the ESP8266 microcontroller. The relay can control loads up to 30VDC or 250VDC with a maximum current of 10A. There are also 5 GPIO's that can be user configured, to extend your DIY project to the max, these will however require soldering to the test pads.

This version DOES NOT support the eWeLink App, see our other listing for the eWeLink version.

The list of features you will see in other listings are quite specific to the eWeLink app, so dont directly apply to this model using Tasmota. However you can achieve all those features and much more using the power of Home Assistant or in some cases Tasmota directly. This includes, self lock mode, Inching mode, timers, remote control via mobile app etc, which are all easily achieved.

Changing your address
